FRx 819

A polymeric flame retardant designed for artificial foliage, Teflon coated poly cotton, and metallic fabrics. FRx 819 is a concentrated clear FR coating that prevents polyester foliage from supporting combustion. Of equal importance, the treatment will not change the colour of the foliage. Its' unique polymetric composition produces a semi-durable FR coating that is not easily compromised by humidity. FRx 819 can be used on Commercial carpeting, Upholstery fabrics, Residential carpeting, Wall coverings, Draperies, Webbing material, Automotive upholstery, Unfinished wood, Silk flowers and foliage, Metallic textiles, Vinyl substrates & Latex Printing. Artificial flowers can be finished by FR Systems or in-house with proper training. Both dipping and spraying technologies can be utilized. Frx 819 allows artifical flowers to meet the requirements of NFPA 701, CAN/ULC-S109-M87, CAN/-4.2-M87.
